The migration from event-based monitoring to metric-based monitoring with Prometheus and Grafana was a paradigm shift that brought real observability into thousands of devices running at remote locations while allowing us to scale our capabilities

• Deconstructing unmaintained “everything server” used for a plethora of unrelated business areas (inc monitoring, http web downloads, custom jobs, etc…) by connecting with stakeholders, understanding usage, sunsetting unused functionality and re-writing everything with a maintainable Ansible configuration-as-code script.
• Maintaining legacy Wavemark monitoring and control software
• Shadowing operations team to identify pain points and start building the vision for next-gen monitoring and control products.

Active Identity is a company that provides clients with custom RFID solutions with the help of its in-house RFID middleware. During my time at Active Identity, I:

• Developed several web applications for custom client needs with LAMP stack, NodeJS, Meteor, ReactJS, Redux
• Took a leading role in the RFID middleware development in Java
• Took a leading role in custom client integrations: Analyzing client needs and implementing custom logic, configuration management and documentation, on-site installation at several clients including Amazon and Electrolux US
