A passionate and ethical people's person with over seven years comprehensive professional experience in Human Resources in the Manufacturing, Oil & Gas, Media, Marketing & PR and Retail Industries. Creating my own career path within the HR field is an aspiration of mine and goal to achieve, through introducing contemporary solutions and experience based teaching that aims towards changing the perception of Human Resources in the Gulf Region. I hold a BA with Honours in International Business Management from the University of Nottingham Malaysia Campus. In addition, I am currently, an associate member of The Chartered Institute of Personnel and Development and, a holder of CIPD - Level 7 Advanced Diploma in HRM.

  • As I progress in my career growth in MAF, various learnings and teachings come into perspective. My current role entails being responsible for all Human Capital related functions with a team of 10 who's responsible for Learning & Development, Talent Acquisition, Employee Engagement, Government Relations, HC in Operations and administration.
  • The role sustains long-terms planning & execution, strategic decision making, integral employee relations management, receive and conduct learning sessions, overlook performance management cycle and bridge the company needs with governmental bodies while aligning the direction.

  • I have chosen to join Majid Al Futtaim Retail Bahrain, as it is always been an aspiration of mine to join an international company to understand how companies operate on international standards. It is an exciting and fulfilling experience to be involved with one of the biggest companies in the region. During my tenure with MAF Retail Bahrain as an HC Manager, I have been involved in all aspects of Human Capital management, including talent acquisition, learning and development, employee experience, payroll, government services and policies and procedures.
  • Nonetheless, my position in the company is associated more with being a change enabler and introducing contemporary concepts and efficient methods in the Human Capital function that enhances our presence whilst also being aligned with the efforts of our regional office.

  • In ASRY, I have mainly worked on training related projects that aim to improve the overall efficiency and productivity of the employees in junior, mid and senior level. These projects include; (1) Multi-Skilling Program for blue collar, (2) Enable ASRY to become a training provider to other companies within the Oil & Gas Industry, (3) Performance Management System, (4) ASRY Apprenticeship Program, (5) Individual Training Development Plans, (6) Familiarisation Program, (7) Employee Recognition Award and (8) Internship Program for University students.
  • Whilst also coordinating internal and external training requirements, conducting TNA, and being involved in setting the Training Department annual budget.

As well as, took the initiative of planning meetings with external parties, including governmental officials.
  • In addition to being exposed to professional Talent Hunt, as I was a representative of the company in various career fairs and events, as well as, supported the recruitment process by benchmarking, screening candidates & conducting interviews.
