Legal Counsel and Advisory

• Head of Training Department Duties- Women Development Business Center (WBDC)

Project Management

• Provide technical inputs to the design and formulation of program/ project proposals.
• Manage all aspects of contracts for WBDC including advice and guidance on donor policies and procedures
• Develop materials for new training programs; reviews, evaluates, and modifies existing and proposed programs, and recommends appropriate changes.
• Managed training programs for women focused on employability and entrepreneurship, such as the Social Innovation Hub in collaboration with Microsoft and the IBDL program with UN Women.
• Lead large-scale training programs for women that served over 50,000 female job seekers.

Personnel Management

• Arrange with department managers to determine training needs as to type, extent and scope, schedules and procedures.
• Plan and supervise all activities of training department.

Stakeholder Management

• Lead on the development of relations with key government and humanitarian partners.
• Establish solid working relationship with the project board, partners, and key stakeholders.

Legal Advisor duties- The National Council for Women (NCW)

• Develop standards for contracts, including presentation of budget, payment terms, general language and provisions.
• Establish and maintain contacts with other institutions, embassies and ministries.

• Technical Assistance Program in support of the Bahraini Police and Law Enforcement Sectors - Training Activities on the International Protection of Human Rights
• Develop and design training materials and activities, including case studies.

• Attend sight visits to prisons, hospitals and areas of conflict in order to take testimonies and document the events.

• Conduct legal analysis and drafted reports based on the applicable legal framework, witness statements, defense memos and court rulings.
