Summary
I am a strategic person, an achiever, and a result-oriented leader. With a doctorate in Quality Management in Higher Education from the UK and an emphasis on strategic quality issues, I am a leader in the field of education. Over the past 24 years, my work at the Bahrain Polytechnic and, before that, at the Higher Education Council, the Ministry of Education, and the University of Bahrain has made a big difference in the way my experience has grown and changed. This mixture of experiences has given me an exceptional experience. As an accreditation expert, my major input pertains to quality assurance and accreditation. I led the Bahrain Polytechnic team in becoming one of the first higher education institutions to receive institutional accreditation from the Higher Education Council in Bahrain in 2016. I led the listing and placement of all Bahrain Polytechnic's qualifications on the National Qualification Framework. I am an approved qualifications assessor by BQA. I managed to achieve 100% of Bahrain Polytechnic programs that are accredited by international professional bodies. An organized and dependable candidate is successful at managing multiple priorities with a positive attitude. willingness to take on added responsibilities to meet team goals.

- In my capacity as Deputy CEO, I developed the curriculum, teaching and learning methodologies, assessment and teaching policies and all academic functions in addition to the admission and registration and student affairs
- In addition, I oversaw an internationalization initiative to entice international students, and the number of international students registered in the institution considerably grew.
- I managed well a student exchange program with international universities, and this attracted international students
- I led the development of six new academic programs that are aligned with the labour market needs, these programs are digital marketing, film and animations, electromechanical engineering technology, communications and networking engineering technology, Oil and Gas plant operations technology and cyber security
- These programs are currently being offered effectively and are in great demand among both Bahraini and international students
- Change management is one of my strengths, In 2004 I have been selected as one of 10 Bahraini women who can be change leaders by NDI (National Democratic Institute, USA), and in 2023 I have been selected as one of 100 Bahraini distinguished women in Women's Day
- I am a result-oriented leader, in 2019I developed Bahrain Polytechnic's strategic planning for 2020-2024 after collaboration with the labour market, government, and other stakeholders
- I constructed a comprehensive planning framework to measure strategic goals achievements in a measurable tool as a result, In 2022 three key goals of the strategic plan were achieved earlier than expected
- At the national, regional, and international levels, I am a keynote speaker in many areas and topics related to higher education leadership, quality assurance, accreditation, and governance
- I was a board member of the GCC network for quality and accreditation representing Bahrain
- And I am a member of the National Committee for academic accreditation established by the prime minister representing public Universities
- This committee is responsible for recommending the accreditation of Universities in Bahrain and I was involved in these decisions
- I chaired Academic Council in my capacity as Deputy CEO this council was responsible for all academic decisions, and then in my capacity, I was chairing Senior Management Team for Bahrain Polytechnic
- I worked with Bahrain Polytechnic Board Closely to achieve the Board's Vision.
- Managed partnerships and strategic business relationships by negotiating contract terms and handling conflicts.
- Reviewed individual department performance and worked with leadership to improve processes, procedures, and practices.
