  • Monitoring and supervising the collection and reduction of total debts through regular communication with customers to settle their outstanding balances with the Civil Aviation Affairs, Ports and Maritime Affairs, Bahrain Post, the Meteorological Directorate and NSSA.
  • Managing the overall revenue collection process by sending statement of account, invoices, invoice description, and all required details to all sectors, including the Civil Aviation Affairs, Maritime Affairs, Bahrain Post, and the Meteorological Directorate, with the aim of reducing the Ministry's outstanding debts.
  • Preparing customer statement of account, revenue collection reports, and other reports using the financial system.
  • Monitoring the collection process and supervising it for invoices owed by airlines for overflying fees through the electronic flight permits scheduling system (NAWRAS).
  • Responsible for updating information on the outstanding amounts for all blacklisted customers with outstanding debts and providing information to the Aviation Permits Department about the amounts owed by companies.
  • Sending statement of account to airlines that are not listed for collection through the International Air Transport Association (IATA) and monthly follow-up with them, including handling the necessary debt payment procedures for these companies.
  • Continuous and periodic follow-up with IATA for debts owed by airlines for overflight and the cash and registration department to ensure the reconciliation
  • of customer accounts in the Ministry with IATA's accounts. In case of any payment or invoice details issues, IATA, the cash department, or the invoice department will be consulted.
  • Reviewing the amounts owed for overflight fees for customers with IATA, with communication with IATA's team if the customer has any issues related to overflight fees. IATA's records are reconciled if some customers pay directly to the Ministry's account.
  • Collaborating with the Aircraft Licensing Department regarding the payment of aircraft Approval fees, reflecting approval for the service.
  • Preparing a detailed financial report for the collection of land rents from tenants in the Bahrain Logistics Zone and following up with the relevant departments. Sending statement of account to land rent customers, and in case of payment delays, directing the invoice department to issue a late payment invoice. Also, request the PDCs yearly from the land customers .
  • Preparing and issuing memos and letters related to the debt collection department.
