  • Act as a central point of contact for the commercial organization, linking with HDQ departments and outstation teams to achieve the commercial network and regional objectives
  • Drive the implementation of Gulf Air's short, mid, and long-term sales strategy.
  • Serve as a single source of information by providing market intelligence to outstation and regional management teams, identifying competitive market threats and opportunities.
  • Review AOS performance, P2P/ Transfer contribution, conduct comprehensive analysis on the OD (Origin & Destination) mix and proactively identify opportunities for online and offline markets contribution.
  • Analyze internal and external data sources and provide recommendations to assist management in optimizing revenue generation at cabin, channel, and segment levels.
  • Managing incentives by providing commercial and analytical support during the planning, implementation and reviewing of travel agents incentives programs, managing budgets, and coordinating regional activities.
  • Evaluate global partnerships and collaborate with stakeholders to implement market-specific promotions in alignment with the short/long term regional sales strategies.
  • Manage contracts and relationships with online travel agencies (OTAs) on a global scale, act as the point of contact and monitor their performance.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to track performance metrics and initiate actions for improvement
  • Scope new opportunities, ensure contractual obligations are met, negotiate agreements, and review business plans for remedial action.
  • Review and process the stations’ Sales Tools proposals/ requirements and monitor on a monthly/quarterly basis.
  • Contribute to the execution of Gulf Air's distribution strategy by managing the day to day relationship with Global Sales Agents (GSA). This will include working with GSA to scope new opportunities, ensuring GSAs meet contractual obligations and generate the required volume/revenue support for the online/offline routes and helping them to get adequate support from GF stakeholders.
  • Manage GSA contract tendering for new appointments/renewals and negotiate agreements with GSAs.
  • Review Business Plans and liaise with Sales Management in HDQ on the implementation of the remedial action recommended with the aim increase success of planned activities.
  • Coordinate on closure and opening of new stations in terms of assets/legal/staff/etc.
  • Preparing daily, weekly, monthly and yearly sales reports to various stakeholders in the Gulf Air Commercial organization.
  • Share best practices and learnings across the region, ensure optimal use of sales and analytical tools, and support sales teams in developing required competencies.
