- Transfer cast iron scraps from the skips in the carousel with the overhead crane to the induction furnace.
- Adding cast iron into the furnace and de-slagging at intervals to reach the furnace capacity of 2.5 tones while monitoring the temperature closely with a thermocouple.
- Raise the furnace to pour the metal into pre-heated ladles for casting.
