· Attending regular meetings (on work progress, coordination, design, etc.) with consultants and contractors to discuss key issues related to the project and take e‑active corrective actions for all MEP activities.

· Identifying site issues/defective work or non-compliance/approved materials and raising non-conformance reports (NCR). Also, follow up with the NCR on-site once the close-out action has been agreed.

· Ensuring that regular inspection requests from the contractor are complied with and applied consistently and worked as MEP coordinator as well.

· Consulting progress reports from the RE and the Project Manager along with site information as and when required.

· Present and explain proposals, reports, or findings to SAPL CM and Clients.

· Ensures compliance with all relevant codes and standards.

· Tracked Baseline Project Completion Schedule & Revamped Project Completion Schedule for all stations recording closely all delays resulting from other parties & internal delays if any.

· Supervise and implement the installation of all electrical activities (MV, LV), and low current system (LOC)/extra low voltage (ELV) equipment for BMS, CCTV, DMS, Access Control, Fire Fighting, Fire Alarm devices installation, testing, and commissioning …etc.

· Follow up on the contractor’s activities and new problems during work and provide immediate solutions.

· Inspection works and specify the notes to be modified.

· Reviewing of occupational safety and health.

· Ensuring the quality and approval of the supplied materials.

· Draft letters to the Client, Contractors & Subcontractors defending the company’s contractual rights as per FIDIC.

· Work on handover documentation like Operation & Maintenance manuals (O & MM), asset registers, SLDs, as-builts, Testing & commissioning reports, Training manuals, spare parts, certifications, final snag/punch list, DLP program completion, NCRs log, meter readings, warranties, licenses software’s, Suppliers/OM/Specialists lists, keys handover, and taking over certificates (TOC).

· Assembling, commissioning, and carrying out tasks related to electrical machinery, networking equipment, data, CCTV, fire alarms, door access control systems, and firefighting systems, HVAC in accordance with electrical schemes and drawings. Testing, commissioning, and securing an electrical permit to work with the MEP department are all part of the T&C department's coordination with the appropriate authorities.

· Confirming that all the MEP requirements are maintained. Certifying the contractor’s monthly progress invoices. Inspection of erection of all kinds of panels like MDB, MCC, LCP, FACP, FARP, LCC, SVCP, LWSP & Switchgear Panels Coordinate with the design team on all aspects of MEP design.

· Prepare periodic reports for management including the status of budgets, variance/change claims, schedules, disputes, and upcoming activities. Overseeing MEP testing and commissioning process and managing third-party consultants to ensure MEP systems are handed over to operators and facilities management.

· Ensure seamless project handover by regularly following up with the contractor on handover documentation. Review Tender documents and assist in developing MEP packages as of the procurement process and analyze contracts related to the project.

· Follow up and coordinate with local authorities to obtain all required MEP design/construction. To oversee the work's execution by the plan, budget, and scope. Create or design electrical modifications for 18 legacy Skywalks and 19 new ones. Project development and completion are the responsibility of Initial engineering, detailed plans, construction, and the last, secure handover to the proponent

· Oversee the design contractor activities for General Engineering Services, which include developing a project proposal that defines the project work scope and schedule, creating a comprehensive estimate that leads to funding appropriation and approval, and detailed engineering.

· Oversee the creation of construction bid packages, material requirements and procurement, and detailed design drawings by contractors. Contribute to the planning and preparation of the contracting plan and strategy for the procurement, construction, and detailed engineering contract solicitations, evaluations, and awards.

Worked as Sr. Electrical Engineer in the Tazez Advanced Ind. Co. Ltd Dammam KSA. on Several Projects like AlOthman Tower/Kempinski Hotel Buildings and Substations.
