• Coordinate with clients and consultants to determine and verify project requirements.
• Implement project quality control procedures and monitor for continuous improvement.
• Verify concreting works quality, including mix design, slump test, placement, compaction, and test sampling.
• Approve the quality of materials used in civil and mechanical works, and oversee materials tests, storage, and handling.
• Perform civil tests including FDT, concrete slump, concrete compression, and lines and grades surveys.
• Prepare and complete the necessary documentation prior to inspection of the works.
• Conduct general inspections on all construction tasks to ensure professional workmanship.
• Supervise and implement QC field and laboratory tests such as trial mix, slump, temperature, strength, and FDT tests.
• Ensure that all works executed comply with contract requirements and specifications.
• Prepare inspection reports and maintain site records.
• Verify actual work completed for invoice payment purposes.
• Project management to ensure successful project hand-over.
• Provide monthly and weekly reports on work progress, materials stock, and test reports.
• Participate in progress meetings to discuss project status, materials, schedule, quality, technical, and safety issues.
• Assist the construction supervision team with contractual matters.
• Participate in the review and approval of interim payments, project variations, and other financial matters, including evaluation of contractor claims.
