My name is Youssef Ismail, I am a BSc Economics graduate from Royal Holloway, University of London, where I developed a strong foundation in financial analysis, robust data evaluation, Capital Markets, and Econometrics. Currently I am a Finance & Administrative Associate at STATERRA CO W.L.L. a rapidly growing environmental consulting firm that delivers specialised services in environmental compliance and strives to develop and design tomorrows world.
In my current role, I actively manage core financial operations including budgeting, bank reconciliation, payroll processing, and financial reporting, while also supporting cross-border administrative functions. This hands-on experience has significantly enhanced my practical knowledge of financial systems, regulatory compliance, and internal controls, and is refining my analytical and problem-solving abilities in real business environments.
My role is continuously shaping my professional growth by exposing me to multi-jurisdictional financial management, interdepartmental coordination, and the implementation of cost-effective administrative practices. Through this position, I am not only strengthening my technical accounting competencies but also developing critical soft skills in communication, time management, and stakeholder collaboration.
Additionally, completing the CFA Level 1 exam and attaining the CertIFR from ACCA has further deepened my understanding of investment & Financial accounting principles and valuation techniques. My academic background, incorporated with the transferable skills I gained from my previous internship experiences such as my ability to analyse data and identify trends and potential opportunities based on empirical and qualitative reasoning allows me to derive crucial insights and play an effective role in a team.
