The Airport Modernization Programme is one of most important national development projects in the kingdom’s history with an estimated cost at USD 1.1 billion where the scale of operation has been increased by five falls requiring redefinition of all existing processes. A key person in developing and implementing the first formal logistics solution for the new airport.

Bahrain International Airport – Airport Logistics Operations

• Developed logistics and delivery concept needed to systematically and efficiently deliver goods and other supplies to the airport: estimated 25,000 kg – averaging 95 pallets per day.
• Handling various duty free & duty paid categories: perishables (frozen & ambient) and pharmaceutical products serving 25 tenants daily requirements.
• Verifying and reviewing security elements and suggest solutions, ensuring compliance with all security regulations.
• Designed process models to provide clear, understandable tools for presenting complex business processes to individuals with minimal knowledge on topic.
• Assessing the need for and designing the concept on-site dedicated facility for unloading, sorting and screening of goods and supplies being brought into the airport.

Bahrain International Airport – General Aviation

• Developed Concept of Operation for starting the General Aviation operation under a wholly owned subsidiary of the airport for short and long term.
• Led the Internal & External stakeholder consultation for the implementation of the concept of operation developed inhouse.
• Liaise with the design and technical team in making the new state of art general aviation terminal operationally compliant based on international best practices.

Bahrain International Airport – New Passengers Terminal Building

• Developed and delivered high level presentations.
• Manage workshops for all airport stakeholders which includes government ministries, authorities, ground handlers, operators, airlines, and Duty Free among others in different events and workshops.
• Developing and facilitating group trainings and instructional programs, covering a wide range of processes and systems.
• Assist in developing the operational concepts, SOP’s, SLA’s and KPI’s.

• Developed and maintained courteous and effective working relationships.
• Managed project requirements and accomplished objectives by self-monitoring progress and promptly solving issues.

• Oversaw professional social media messaging through content development, follower engagement, social listening, trend analysis and by leveraging competitor research.
• Studied objectives, promotional policies or needs of organizations to develop public relations strategies influencing public opinion or promoting ideas.

• Analyzed demographic data to determine optimal targets, messaging and tactics for persuasion.
• Masterminded highly successful digital strategies for various platforms to attract customer engagement.

• Promoted program courses, activities and accomplishments, both internally and externally, to boost recruitment and retain diverse student body.
• Increased school registrations over 30% in 2016 with improved promotional approaches, outreach strategies and parent engagement plans.
